In Loving Memory of Gaelia – December 2020. Gaelia, you had an extremely calming energy. You were just a tiny ball of cuteness and you deserved so much more in this world. I am forever grateful for adopting you because you brought a lot of good to my life. You taught me lessons and you kept Yuely happy, who went through so much the months before. Despite your tiny size and health issues, you were filled with so much love and I had no idea I would get attached so quickly. It's only natural though--you are absolutely adorable. I didn't know we would face such a difficult challenge ahead, but I would do it all over again. You left so unexpectedly, but I think it's because you were meant for greatness, a higher happiness. My mother who gave me your name keeps telling me you saved someone's life and that's why you had to leave. I can't stop thinking of how strong you were even in the final moments, trying to get back up because you knew how much I was crying. On the day you passed, I wore a bracelet called Wildflower, and when we received your ashes we coincidentally got a Wildflower seed heart. On the way home from the memorial, you gave us a "wildflower sunset"--the most beautiful sunset I've seen in my entire life, same colors as the bracelet. I knew what you were trying to tell me. Thank you for your gift, Gaelia. I love you so, so much.. Yuely will always miss you, and you will forever be his girl. It must have taken less than a day for Yuely to bond with you. As I recall, it was even love at first sight. You had a short time in this world, but I'll remember you for the rest of my life. I'm so happy we got to play together, and you got to experience playing with Yuely and trying out new foods. I should have let you play with the toys more. Next time around, I'll just let you play with as many toys as you want. We will do all of the things we never got to experience with each other. The time we spent together in this life was truly surreal. I cannot stop replaying the videos, thinking of all the memories. My perfect little girl, we will meet you again. We will forever love you, Gaelia.
